Hiking & Biking
Our family loves to get out there for a good bike ride or hike. It takes very little effort to get to a good trail from Tan-Y-Bryn.

The great thing about Banff is nothing is very far away. You can park your car and walk along the river, up Tunnel Mountain, or just wander through town and enjoy the scenery and people .
hanging out
We love to sit in our garden with a drink and enjoy the views in peace and quiet. Or read a book. Or play a game of cards. We have provided seating in the front yard for our guests to do the same.
winter
Skiing, snowshoeing and skating - oh boy!
We can literally walk out the door and grab our skates, nordic skis or snowshoes and it doesn't take long to find a skating rink or quiet trail to practice on.

Banff is generally more quiet in the winter. If you dress sensibly you can still sit outside with a warm drink and enjoy the views. We have some great restaurants and cafes in town to enjoy too!
